The problem
Track attendance and manage classes without a permanent internet connection.
My contribution
I developed a PWA with AI assistance, reviewing its logic, persistence and tests. Open the app in its own tab to access the camera.
Technical decisions
- Workbox service worker and Dexie/IndexedDB persistence for offline use after the first load.
- Migrations, unique indexes, transactions and revisions to handle cross-tab conflicts.
- QR reading, camera lifecycle, history and recoverable deletion.
- Backup/restore, CSV, XLSX and PDF export; Vitest and Playwright tests.
Scope and limitations
Data stays in the browser; this is not a multiuser SaaS and it does not automatically sync with iDoceo. Physical-camera and real import testing require device validation.
